Fridays are our family learning day or as I like to view them a great day to sleep in! Unfortunately I couldn't sleep in this morning. It isn't all bad as I got to talk with Brandon before he left for work this morning. He got to spend the day in a VA briefing and he said it was awfully boring.
While I was eating breakfast Evie gathered up all of the food coloring markers that I have and decided to color eggs with them. I didn't feel like boiling them so I let her decorate them raw.
She spent about 20 minutes decorating her egg before she decided that we should make cookies. We made some yummy chocolate chip cookies together - Evie likes to crack the eggs. Then the girls spent the rest of the afternoon playing the Wii. It has a been a laid back kinda day which I love!

Her concentration face is just gorgeous! Love the little detail shot too, this is an awesome storytelling series!
I love her little pursed lips in the third- so sweet! Do your kids not have school on Fridays- Lucky!!
