Changes

Our life has changed so much in the past few weeks I am not even sure where to start this blog! At the end of  March we found out that Brandon would be retiring early from the military. We had put in our paperwork back in January but as usual the military took their time letting us know what was going to happen. We the quickly began making plans for our life outside of the military. Brandon had a lot of leave saved up so the changes came very fast!

On April 14th the girls and I headed to Utah while Brandon stayed behind to deal with packing our furniture and out processing the base. The girls settled back into school quickly and picked up with their friends right where they left off last school year. Settling back in has been much easier than I expected but then again we haven't even been gone a year!

Brandon is still in Las Vegas but will be joining us at the end of the week once he has everything taken care for his pending retirement. We will be officially retired from the US Air Force at the end of July. He has had a couple of interviews for a great company here in Utah and we are hoping that it will turn into a job offer. We are staying with my inlaws again until we are able to find a local place to rent. We are hoping to eventually build a house so renting seems to make the most sense.

The girls and I had a wonderful Easter weekend full of candy, eggs, and family. The girls attended the city egg hunt at the park on Saturday then came home and we decorated eggs. While the eggs were drying the Easter Bunny visited and the girls had fun finding eggs all over the yard. On Sunday we had an Easter picnic with Brandon's side of the family. The girls had a wonderful time with their cousins and I enjoyed catching up with everyone.

We are so blessed and we are so grateful how well this move has been going. There have a been a few hiccups here and there but all in all we know without a doubt this is where we are suppose to be. It is so nice to be home!
