All my energy has always been focused on painting the new house which means things at my inlaws have gotten a little messy. We are all in one room until our furniture arrives and we can move into the new house. Needless to say one room for 4 people is not enough room. Things get messy fast if I don't stay on top of them! So I spent the day catching up on laundry and cleaning up the room. The girls hung around the house and played nicely with each other - it was a miracle!
After dinner we all headed out to check on the chickens. Eve loves helping Grandpa Nordell feed and take care of them. Of course she also has to hold and pet all of them. Bella got bored so she spent most of the time playing in the tall grass.

Can I just say I LOVE living here in a small time with family close by. It is such a change from our lives while we were in the Air Force - a good change!
