Brandon, Evie and I spent the day together running errands and going to the movies. We picked up a few items for the house at Lowes then we went to see Maleficent.
It was a good movie though I will say I didn't love the way the 3 fairies were portrayed. They were one of my favorite characters in the animated film and to be honest one of my least favorite in Maleficent. The pink fairy was played by Imelda Staunton who also played Dolores Umbridge who of course I hated which unfortunately means that I will never like her in any other movie. Angelina Jolie on the other hand was AMAZING as Maleficent!
After the movies we headed back to the new house and took some measurements and made some plans for the backyard. It is so much planning things for a house we won't have to move out of in a few years. When we got back to my inlaws house I found a very sunburned Bella - I guess 5 hours at the pool was a bit too much. Sunburn aside she had a wonderful day with her friends.
It was a relaxing yet fun Saturday and the perfect way to end the week. I am really hoping that by this time next week we will be living in our new house!
