Start of School

I could never have predicted how busy our lives would be once school started!

Evie is now in 2nd grade and she loves her new teacher. She has quite a few friends in her class and loves going to school. She informed me the other day that she is too big for me to worry about her anymore. I laughed and told her that would never happen. She also started playing soccer and is really enjoying her practices.

Bella is now in 6th grade and is in middle school. It is VERY hard for me to see her growing up. So much so that I signed up for the PTA at the middle schools so I can spy on her! She loves her classes and even has hang of getting in and out of her locker. She is also in a local production of Cinderella and has been busy with practices.

Brandon has been quite busy at work though he did manage to get the 3 day weekend off which was nice. We spent the weekend getting the yard ready for the coming winter since he is about to go into the busy season at the Turkey Plant and it might be his last free Saturday this year.

I am staying busy while the girls are at school between helping with the middle school PTA (I am the President-elect) and starting my new job. I nanny part-time for the most adorable little girls. The house was just too quiet with the girls at school all day so I had to do something! The girls are 3 months and 2 years old and probably the sweetest things ever. The girls love having them over and fight over who gets to take care of the baby. 

We are settling into our lives here in Utah and really enjoying being close to family. The weather is absolutely beautiful - for now. I am not sure how I will feel come the winter!
