Snowflakes

It was long night last night. Evie's was having growing pains and was up off and on from 1am on. When the alarm went off this morning I decided we could all use some more sleep. Evie was still very tired which was obvious when she burst into tears when Brandon kissed her goodbye. She wanted him to stay home with her. After getting a little more sleep and eating some triangle pancakes for breakfast everyone seemed to be doing good. I sat down at the computer to edit some pictures from a session I shot on Saturday.

Evie came in and told me she was cold and started to shiver. I felt her head and realized she was running a fever. So we headed back to bed. Brandon came home for lunch and gave her some tylenol and tucked her in with his ipad - only he can take care of her when she is sick. She watched a show then fell asleep. When she woke up we moved to the couch to play cards and watch Christmas movies.

After watching Frosty the Snowman Evie told me she wanted it to snow here. I totally don't agree though I do understand. So I grabbed some coffee filters left when they visited last. Bella came in and helped us make lot of snowflakes. We spent the rest of the afternoon creating a winter wonderland around the tree. Evie had the great idea to use the scraps as fake snow for the floor.
